I am doing what I can, for the matter, but have found myself at something of an impasse-- I hoped coming here would shed some light upon it, but thus far, it has not.
My first question is, naturally, where are they-- but I also must wonder why. What in the world happened that, whoever they are, they have seemingly replaced them?
...It may be that even the Nightman isn't aware that they're missing. For example, Gemini has stopped me from saying their true name, and Virgo becomes highly defensive when I even suggest that their behavior seems out of character for them. I don't see why they would act otherwise, if not to keep up the facade.
...Our, um, recent guest—[ qi rong, ]—seemed to be very much aware of his role. According to the contracts, he was meant to be Virgo, and he was very single-minded in his desire to kill the current holder of the title.
[ ...he trails off a little here, with a bit of a heavy sigh. ]
It may have proved fruitless in the end, yes, but I would have liked to keep him alive. He may have been able to provide us a hint as to what happened to the other seven.

[what day was this pc it doesn't matter anymore it's after the contract info drop now]
You heard them detail the staff contracts, yes? Aquila-- Vax'ildan, he's-- my hostage. Supposedly.

You mean to say, he is who was originally going to take on the mantle of Aquila.

Whoever Aquila is now, it is not Vax.

Then that makes three out of eight staff members that I can personally attest to who are not the people the contracts were allegedly signed by.

Did something happen that they simply took advantage of? Or did they do this? Are any of the originals in on it at all?

[a sigh, a shake of his head.]
It would certainly be ideal if he could speak of it, yes.
