[ hope hasn't spent very much time in camp gatonina this week, but here he is now, having stepped outside of the hotel to find himself at the wall of boarding passes in the mess hall. he's in front of flayn's photo, silently regarding the innocuous quote at the bottom of her pass when he notices another presence near him.
his voice is calm, the trained restraint of someone who's had to deliver bad news through gritted teeth. ]
Tomorrow is going to feel very familiar too, isn't it?
[ poor boy doesn't know a goddamn thing about swords... but rather than dwell on that, he turns his attention back to flayn's picture, placing his hand under her pass. ]
...Do you think her soul is being held on a plane we can't reach?
[ hope's a little distracted when mikazuki comes upon him. they're in front of the mailboxes in the lobby, and his eyes are fixed on the nameplate that reads oerba dia vanille. hearing the sword's voice manages to rouse him out of his stupor, though, even if his voice sounds like he's still somewhere far away mentally. ]
[ for as much as he's established himself as a mature, knowledgeable figure in the past week, there's a glimpse of a younger hope in his eyes, one that the others who came from wiwaldi would be more familiar with. before he loses himself to his thoughts again, he glances over at mikazuki; he notes the other's gaze, the phrasing of his question. ]
.... for mine, it is a bit less startling. Many of my companions have been brought to these experiences, and come home with their tales. Even in the 'summer camp' when I awoke, I wandered out alongside many friends.
[izumonokami kanesada, nikkari aoe, hizamaru, higekiri, horikawa kunihiro, and finding yamatonokami yasusada and tsurumaru kuninaga awake - even though they were not mikazuki's comrades exactly.]
But I take it that you and this friend did not get to meet and reconvene on your experiences.
[ once again, he's given pause. he shakes his head instinctively in response to mikazuki's question, but that's unfortunately not the line of conversation he's interested in pursuing right now— ]
[seems like there's a lot of info to still give out]
I believe in the 'summer camp' we effectively also worked as hostages - those who were there from previous experiences, but remained asleep and unable to provide help to those awake. At the end of their experience, we were roused and set free.
[ another week, another trial. after today's events, hope is looking a little tired, but ever stalwart. as they file out of ankheen's church and back to the hotel, he stops the tachi, canting his head slightly. ]
Hello, Mikazuki. I know it's been a long day, but... I'd like to speak with you, maybe over some tea. Would you like to accompany me to the courtyard?
[ and hope will lead mikazuki to the courtyard, assisting him if it ever looks like he needs help. once settled, hope flags down a couple of the shadowy figures, who serve them tea and then seemingly dissipate once they stray too far from their field of vision. ]
How have you been doing the last few days? Tsurumaru said you're doing better, but... I'd like to hear it from you, of course.

[mikazuki will look at the different passes with mild curiosity, wondering.]
Though today itself has already opened some wounds that are almost long forgotten for some, but entirely too fresh for others.

Some of "you"?

[it'll be a long day]
For some of us, that shall be novel to experience on this side.

Though it is a bit further back in my memory, I did once answer to the name 'Lune'.

I assume the participants of your game didn't have enough information about you to make the connection.

Though it was amusing, to watch them take their time to reach their conclusion.

week 1, monday
mikazuki will look toward hope as they meet somewhere in the hallway,]
Ha ha ha. Good day, Hope Estheim. Taking a walk outside of the hotel?
[mikazuki's in good spirits, as always, even though he's still got makeshift bandages on his face ah well]
no subject
...That's a way of looking at it, I suppose.

buzen gou, kashuu kiyomitsu, yamatonokami yasusada.]

Hello, Mikazuki. I know it's been a long day, but... I'd like to speak with you, maybe over some tea. Would you like to accompany me to the courtyard?

Very well, very well. I shall hardly say no to a cup of tea.

... better, certainly.
Have you spoke with Kim Dokja or Aikawa regarding our experience?
